About Your Visit

Here are some things to expect when you come to see us.  We don't expect you to know the exact size of your child's foot so we do it for you!  Every brand and every shoe fits different so we will bring out several options to find the perfect fit!

The fitting process

• We will remove both shoes in order to measure both feet. We will check for foot and arch length using the brannock device. We will observe width, but do not use the brannock device to quantify it.
• Take a look at the display walls to get an idea of the types of shoes (style, color, brand, etc.). Keep in mind, we always have more options in the back.
• Our fit experts will try to pull shoes as close to what you have described or shown to us. We might not have every style you pick. We will focus the most on providing the best fit and function.
• We will sit down and try several pairs on your child, checking for proper fit. Then its time to test them out!

Keeping records

We keep record cards for all of the kiddos that come in to see us. This allows us to keep track of the shoes and sizes we have previously fit them in. If you ever have a question about something you've bought in the past, we will have record of it. We also keep information that might be helpful for the next associate who works with you. 

Busy times

Weekends and after school tend to be the busiest times. We have a few procedures in place to ensure your visit goes as quickly and smoothly as possible.

• We keep numbers by our door. If you notice it is busy, please take one.
• We provide every customer with the same amount of attention and will spend as much time with you as you need. We will be with you as quickly as we can.
• If you have a question that does not require a personal fitting or would like to see a specific shoe in a specific size, we will be more than happy to get that taken care of without needing a number.
